There will be a prologue but not for setting starting positions. It will be used for a shakedown ride to make sure all RallyComps are working properly from participants installing them and allowing the new participants to learn how to operate them while riding the prologue. The prologue will happen after Administrative check in and Scrutineering are completed by all participants.
We will be operating with NO restrictions this year.
All participants will ride the same stages no matter the CC size of the motorcycle that they are competing on.
All volunteers must have a Colorado and Search and Rescue card and a Red Cross first aid card or equivalent or higher certification just like the competitors (Please follow the links on our website). Volunteers are responsible for their own food, lodging and fuel. The organization may at it's discretion pay for fuel for a volunteer using their vehicle only during the rally and not driving to and from the rally location.
Electronic roadbook platforms may be used for our rally along with the traditional roadbook platform.
The cubic centimeters limit has been raised to 701cc for four stroke enduro motorcycles.
We want the PLB on the riders body and not on the motorcycle. Where they carry it and how they carry it will be their responsibility. We do not want to see it inside someones hydration pack on their back. If they don't have their rally jacket or vest on they must still have it on their body
RALLY COMP may be used as the rider's primary ODO/ Cap Heading/ Speedometer if they do not have and ICO, RNS or KTM Tripmaster but remember you will have no redundancy in case of unit failure. Riders must have a roadbook box preferably powered but a manual roadbook box may be used.
Fuel range and fuel tank size clarification; motorcycles must meet the required fuel range of 161 kilometres no matter what size the fuel tank is on any given make or model motorcycle. 02/22/2022
